I'm a native English speaker and former lecturer at San Francisco State University, where I taught at the college level. That experience shaped how I approach teaching: structured enough to actually build skills, but conversational enough that you're not just sitting through a lecture.
My professional background is in creative direction and brand strategy, with 15+ years working across gaming, lifestyle brands, and marketing. My lessons are conversation-first. We spend most of our time actually talking, because the fastest way to get comfortable in English is to use it, not just study it.
A typical session looks like this: we open with a warm-up conversation on a topic relevant to you (work, travel, daily life), then move into a focused area like pronunciation, vocabulary, business phrasing, or whatever you're working on. I tailor every lesson to where you are and where you want to go.
At the end of each session, I'll give you a small, low-pressure assignment. A short journal entry, a few phrases to practice, or a podcast to listen to. Nothing overwhelming. Just enough to keep the momentum going between lessons.
My lessons work well for adults who want to communicate more confidently at work, improve their everyday English, or prepare for professional situations. All levels welcome, whether you're just starting out or polishing an already strong foundation.
