My journey to becoming an English and Spanish tutor is rooted in a passion for connection and cultural exploration. While my professional background includes diverse experiences, from emergency medical dispatch to IT certifications, and even teaching skateboarding, the common thread has always been my ability to effectively communicate and guide others. I've honed my teaching skills through instructing Basic Life Support classes, where I consistently achieved an 80% student pass rate. This experience taught me the importance of clear instruction and patient guidance, skills I bring to language tutoring. My five years teaching skateboarding to children solidified my love for working with young learners. I thrive on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel confident to learn and grow. Living in Spain and Mexico immersed me in the beauty and nuances of the Spanish language and Latin culture.
