About Amanda
I am a 55-year-old woman who is a native English speaker. I try very hard to do my best for everyone. I customize my approach to each student. I want to make your journey learning the English language comfortable and enjoyable. I tend to use humor or goofy actions to help. I think having a tiny bit of ridiculous or humorous actions in a lesson can really make it stick. I want each and every student to feel that I care about them and their journey.

I worked with military wives on their English skills. We started at the very beginning. Using phonics to sound out words. We used workbooks and practiced reading, writing and speaking. I did this for over a year. I saw great improvement in my students. It was wonderful to see them flourish. I currently work as a paralegal to help my husband. But I have tons of time to create a plan to help students. I know some German. As I lived there for 5 years. I am not fluent in it. I know minimal Spanish and am currently working on improving my understanding of the language. I would love to create a custom plan for you.
