About Bianca

Hi, I'm Bianca, I'm currently in university studying Film. I am bilingual as I come from a French family, with my first language being English and my second French. I have been learning French in a classroom for the last 7 years but informally at home all my life, and therefore understand what it takes to learn a language. Learning a language can be challenging and scary at times, but also rewarding and that's why I want to create a safe environment for my students to both learn in and succeed in. To me, a teacher is someone who is understanding, patient, and passionate about their work, which is why I strive to embody these qualities in my own lessons.

About the lesson

I have been tutoring for over a year in English, Maths, and Chemistry. My sessions would be 50 minutes long, and I can help year 10-12 students in Australia in those subjects or French speakers of any English level learn English. For learning English I would teach reading, writing, and speaking skills and cover subjects tailored to my student's interests and goals. For example, preparing for a job interview, learning phrases for traveling, essay writing, or even some cultural differences. I am very kind and patient and have personal experience in learning a new language and all that goes into it.
