About Olivia
I am currently a student at UCL in London, doing a master's degree in Neuroscience of Language and Speech. I grew up in Nijmegen in The Netherlands, where I finished my VWO (pre-university education) in 2022. For my undergraduate I moved to Brussels in Belgium so I could study both Dutch and English. I wrote my theses on aphasia and Foreign Accent Syndrome. I am hoping to research these topics further during my master's degree.

I'm open to teaching all ages. The lessons can be 30 minutes to 60 minutes long, whatever fits the student's schedule. I focus on conversational skills, teaching new (thematic) vocabulary and improving reading comprehension by reading and discussing texts every class.
I did my bachelor's degree in Dutch and English linguistics and literature. I do not have any teaching qualifications, but do understand the language on an academic level, and have grown up as a native Dutch speaker.
