About Amber
I previously worked teaching English to native mandarin speakers in an International School in Taizhou, Jiangsu. In 2023, I moved to England with my husband - a UK citizen. Having experienced from both perspectives - teaching Chinese to English speakers and English to Chinese speakers, I feel I have a good understanding of common mistakes/pitfalls but also the best methods to learn Mandarin.

At the very start of my lessons I like to establish what your aims/targets are. I will tailor your lessons based on these aims and what you want to get out of the course.
My experiences as a teacher in China and a Mandarin Tutor have been condensed into key nuggets of wisdom within this course.
Key topics cover everyday phases, the key tones and pronunciation, structure and patterns to look out for, how the culture and language connect and much, much more!
