About Clara

I am passionate about teaching! And English is my ever-lasting love! However, as a graduate English teacher I believe I can also help you improve your Spanish, my native language. My experience as a Teacher extends over 50 full years, during which children, adolescents as well as adults have been my learners. My belief is that a language is better learnt by using it actively. Therefore, the work during my lessons is primarily dedicated to speaking, starting from articles in the written media, as well as recorded materials.

About the lesson

As a Graduate English Teacher with over 60 years' experience, I think that you learn a language by using it. Therefore, my conversation lessons are based on actively using Spanish to deal with all kinds of situations, be it a conversation with a friend, or a business talk, a presentation, an online or in-person job application, etc. The material I use ranges from newspapers and magazines to articles dealing with the student's personal needs. Listening cannot be disregarded, therefore recording and videos are an important source to develop conversations from.
My lessons are mainly for adolescents and adult learners, and they are 1-hour long.
