At 14 I went to state in extemporaneous speaking, at 15 I was nationally ranked in Policy debate, and I’ve been writing & performing spoken word poetry for most of my life. I look forward to helping you succeed in all forms of creative & expressive writing.

Lessons will consist of the basics of public speaking, speech & essay writing, improvisation and thinking on the fly, as well as an emphasis on embedding your own creative experience into each and every piece you write. Extemporaneous speaking & speech writing gave me the skills necessary to write eloquent essays quickly - a necessity for AP testing and other essay based tests. Taking the time to learn the skills I have honed over the many years will help you succeed in many areas of your life - beyond just speech and creative writing.
