About Gaurisa
Hi, I'm Gaurisa! I'm a professional tennis coach with a background that combines serious playing experience and formal coaching credentials.
I hold a National Coaching Diploma from a top sports institute in India, and I bring 15 years of playing experience — including 10 years at the professional level — to every lesson. I spent 5+ years coaching players of all ages and levels in India and China, from complete beginners to intermediate competitors.
I work with kids, adults, and everyone in between, offering group sessions, private one-on-one lessons, and dedicated fitness training tailored to tennis performance. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or refining your game for competition, my goal is to make every session structured, encouraging, and genuinely useful — not just drills for the sake of drills.
I'd love to help you build confidence and skill on the court, one session at a time.

My coaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals first — grip, footwork, and stroke mechanics — before layering in tactical awareness and match strategy. I adapt my teaching style depending on the player: technical drilling and repetition for beginners, and situational/point-play work for intermediate players looking to sharpen their game.
A typical class starts with a warm-up and footwork drills, moves into technical or stroke-specific work (forehand, backhand, serve, volleys depending on the day), and finishes with live-ball or point-play situations so players can apply what they've practiced under real conditions. Fitness and conditioning are woven in as needed, especially for competitive players.
What sets me apart: I hold a National Coaching Diploma and bring 15 years of playing experience, including 10 years at the professional level, alongside 5+ years of coaching experience in India and China. This combination means I can teach not just "how" but "why" — translating high-level playing experience into lessons that make sense at any skill level.
Who I coach: Kids, adults, and everyone from complete beginners to intermediate players, through group sessions, private one-on-one lessons, and dedicated fitness training for tennis.
