About Grace
My name is Grace, and I’m currently studying French at the University of Bristol. I’ve always been passionate about languages since a young age. Having achieved strong results in my French studies, I’ve developed a solid foundation and a love for the language that I’m excited to share with others. This all would not have been possible if it were not for the French tutoring I received whilst at prep school, which I found to be immeasurably beneficial to my development in this subject. My French studies at Wellington College further cemented in me a love for the subject and my experience supporting younger students in their such studies showed me how much I love teaching also.

My Approach to Tutoring As a French tutor, I believe in creating engaging, interactive, and personalised lessons to help my students build confidence and proficiency in the language. Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I tailor my lessons to each student’s goals, whether it's improving grammar, expanding vocabulary, or refining pronunciation. Lessons incorporate a mix of activities, such as conversation practice, writing exercises, and comprehension tasks. Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour, but I can adjust the duration based on individual preferences and needs. My Qualifications and Experience: I am a student at the University of Bristol studying French, with an upper intermediate proficiency. I achieved a 6 in my IB French exam (equivalent to A/A* at A-Level) and a 9 in my GCSE French. While I am new to formal tutoring, I have experience assisting peers and younger students with their French studies.
