I am a qualified English First Language Teacher. TESOL qualified. I coach Field Hockey professionally and also Teach during the week.
Coaching compliments my Teaching career very well. It tought me to prepare my learners better. To train my learners in such a way that they are better prepared and rehearsed than what will be seen as passablebor average by society.

I would discuss the topic and compare a personal life experience to it. Then i would ask if anyone else has ever had the same experience. The learners normally ask a lot of questions. Sometimes because they are just curious and many times because they have some personal doubts or issues. In this way i like to guide them and develop self belief. This method helps learners to think, listen and speak in english And use a bigger variety of words.
