About Deborah

From a very young age, music has played a significant role in my life. Starting with the drum kit, I quickly added guitar and songwriting to my skill set. Mostly self-taught and learning through friends and communities, I developed a balanced approach to music as a creative outlet, therapeutic tool, and profession. My understanding of music theory stems from a joyful curiosity about how all elements interact and influence each other to create harmony. That said, I mainly let my flow and intuition guide me, having built the technical and theoretical foundation to dance freely with the instrument. I genuinely enjoy the teaching process—especially witnessing the moments of revelation on a student's face when they try something new and finally grasp it after some necessary trial and error. My teaching experience comes from volunteer work as well as paid positions where I taught children and teenagers. Helping them play and jam together as a band brings me immense satisfaction and joy. Finding harmony between two people or more can be easier said than done - that's why music is such a powerful way to bring people together through a shared universal language. In recent years, I have traveled the world, embracing numerous opportunities to teach guitar, jam, and collaborate with others. Now, I am inspired to share my gift with even more people through online classes. My goal is not just to teach guitar, but to impart my spiritual and healing approach to music. I want to introduce you to new ways of connecting with the instrument and yourself, all with the intention of bringing love and healing to the world. Open your heart, voice, and spirit to receive these transformative skills, and let your light shine through your musical creations.

About the lesson

If you're a complete beginner or already playing basic chords, my lessons will enhance your flow, rhythm, and understanding of music. My approach focuses on teaching you the essential skills needed to play (almost) any song with ease and confidence.

It's more than just playing the right notes - it's all about your flow and enjoyment when you play and sing.
With extensive experience in stage performance, I can help you find your unique voice and express it, whether for yourself or for close friends to enjoy.

I also use guitar and improvised singing as a means to bring out my emotions and heal through music. I will teach you a new way to love yourself, nurturing growth and expansion. Music can be a powerful tool for transformation & empowerment, helping you open blockages and discover what you truly feel deep down.
