I am a pianist with my degree in Music Education. I have taught piano in several areas of NC, including Durham, Sneads Ferry, and Wilmington. By learning piano, my previous students' were able to improve their focus through learning music

My teaching method includes teaching student's how to read music. It is extremely important to understand the basics of reading music, and how it relates to piano performance. When I meet a new student, I like to discuss with them their interests, favorite genres of music, and incorporate those into the lessons.

Details
Rates vary based on a monthly payment. I recommend that beginning students have a weekly lesson of thirty minutes, while an late intermediate or early advanced student attends a weekly lesson for an hour.
30min monthly payment = $120 60min monthly payment = $160
The first lesson is free an will last 30 minutes. This gives me a chance to understand the student's interests and current abilities, and recommend to them the 30 minutes or 60 minute weekly lessons.
