About Brian
I teach piano and basic music theory to beginners and intermediate students, focusing on building a strong foundation while making lessons enjoyable and practical.
My lessons combine practical piano playing with music theory, technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and reading music. I adjust my teaching approach according to each student’s level, goals, and pace of learning. I also encourage students to practise regularly and gradually become more confident and independent musicians.
A typical lesson lasts 30–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, level, and learning goals.
I am a Bachelor of Music student at the Technical University of Kenya with experience teaching piano and basic music theory. I also have experience in choir and instrumental performance.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults who are beginners or at an intermediate level and want to learn piano, improve their technique, understand music theory, or develop their overall musicianship.
