About Orin
I’ve had many music teachers in my life. Some teach fast-paced, and sometimes gloss over the basic and simple steps. Being a dyslexic student, I’ve often felt left behind, when still stuck on the basic and simple understandings. When it came to the harder questions, I was always behind, and struggled to keep up. This changed one day when I found a new teacher who had a different and gentler approach to teaching music. Before long I found myself excelling at theory, and later used these techniques in my everyday life at school, and now at university. My aim is to be that teacher for someone else.

I feel a calm and gentle approach is the best way to learn. In a practical and positive way. Lessons are for those interested in learning the basics of music theory (Grades 1-3). We will cover the relative content and practise past papers and exam-style questions.
