About Adam
My name is Adam, I am an HND level college student with over 5 years of learning music and violin.
I am a first study violinist but i also know some guitar and piano which allows me to explain musical concepts using these tools. This comes in very useful with students who also have some instrumental skills.
I have experience in performing up to grade 8 ABRSM and some experience, though not much, in composition.
I seek students who are interested in learning music for any purpose and to be their means of acquiring the knowledge and skill so that they can eventually continue on on their own.

About the lesson

I will teach you music up to grade 5 ABRSM, that includes music theory, music reading, sheet music analysis and other activities that will increase your understanding of how music works, and how it's written.
I will prepare all necessary material before each class and we'll discuss it together. At the end of each class I will provide exercises in either book or PDF format to complete at your own discretion and I'll mark them for you walking you through the mistakes.
The course will be useful for applications in music performance, composition, song writing and helping the student with their schoolwork. It's an all-round course that will benefit and develop you as a musician.
Each class lasts an hour and costs £18 with the exception for the first session during which we will get to know each other and discuss student's ability and musical experience.
