Alexis is a very patient mentor, and sensitive to the needs of her students, employing different approaches to each one to foster and maintain interest in learning how to play the piano. She is structured in her teaching (parents know where their kids are at and the end goal), but at the same time, receptive to feedback and open to suggestions that will make lessons not only challenging, but fun. My daughter is thriving under her mentorship and I know I made the right decision in switching to Alexis's studio!
