About Ryn
Besides being a Music specialist with 5 years’ experience teaching children, including children with special needs. I hold a BA in Psychology, a Diploma in Counseling, and Trinity Grade 8 Piano Practical with Distinctions across my music exams. I believe music can be a positive outlet for self-expression, emotional well-being and healthy emotional development, while helping learners build confidence and creativity. It is most fulfilling to journey together and seeing growth, self-expression, and love for music in my students!

My approach is fun, patient and personalised to each learner. I use a mix of demonstration, guided practice, music theory and playing by ear, adapting lessons to the student’s pace and interests. Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes. I have 5 years’ experience teaching children, including children with special needs, and hold Trinity Grade 8 Piano Practical with Distinctions across my exams. Lessons are suitable for beginners and young learners, including those who are completely new to piano.
