About Tommy
From a young age I've loved all things music. I began playing at 7 years old and have been through the motions of different musical styles and genres, from Big-Band to Trap and R&B. After establishing a more technical interest in Music Technology, I took a degree in Music Production and graduated with a first-class award. Ever since I have been working as a freelance film score composer and mixing engineer.
Since learning that my subject was being discontinued at many schools and institutes, I found a passion to teach production and music-tech to new producers and musicians. I found that from teaching, I was sparking my own creativity and constantly learning on the job.

Using my 15 years experience and grade 5 qualification, I'll take students through the essentials of drum playing, taking the time to teach rudiments, timings and basic rhythms before we stretch your abilities to more complex rhythms and songs.
With my first-class in BA (hons) in Music Production I want to give new, aspiring producers and songwriters the essential knowledge required to become the next best thing. Over zoom or in person, I'll take students step by step through production software and processes, teaching all things from Mixing and Editing through to composition and arrangement.
My lessons typically last one hour and I try to specify my students to beginner/entry level.
