About Louis
I have been in the audio industry for 7 years, mixing countless live gigs, working with a big range of artists both in and out of the studio. I have experience recording in full analogue professional studios and bedrooms alike. I have recorded drum kits, guitars, vocals, pianos, violins, saxophones and horns, tin whistles, bagpipes, choirs and cathedral organs. I personally play guitar and write songs spanning many genres from folk to modern metal. I am also an avid Drum and Bass producer and DJ. After studying BSc Audio Engineering I have been teaching Music Production for the past year at one of the top independent schools in the UK.

I will cover both the theoretical and artistic sides to making music. Learn about: - How sound works (acoustics) - Audio technology and how it interacts with music - Recording techniques for all instruments - Making the most of recording software - Creating captivating and addictive songs through production - Translating feel and emotion into your productions Lessons can be as long or short as you please, but I recommend sessions 1-2hrs for maximum productivity. Any age and skill level is appropriate.
