About Matty

I am a drummer in a band that plays gigs and has a following. I have been playing drums for 7 years and now want to start teaching everything I know to other people. I am also a Music Production Graduate with a Bachelor Honors.

My teaching method is to be patient and take things slow. When starting out, it is not about hitting the drums and playing hard beats, it is about counting and learning the feel of the instrument first. Baby steps are always the best steps in my opinion as that is how I learned to be the drummer I am today.
