About Fergal

I'm a music producer, live electronic music performer, and DJ hailing from Ireland. I have been professionally releasing music and DJing for many years and I have previously taught online music lessons to a few students. Music is a massive passion for me. About the lesson

My teaching approach is practical, structured, and student-focused, with a very much hands-on approach. Lessons are built around Ableton Live as the core tool, covering both creative and technical aspects of music production. The focus for lessons will be track arrangement, MIDI programming, mixing, and sound design fundamentals. Each lesson will be 1 hour, with small practical exercises throughout the lesson. I find this works well for focused, hands-on learning. I am an experienced music producer with a strong working knowledge of Ableton Live and modern electronic music production techniques. I have my own record label and have a catalog of released music. I also hold an Honors BA in Music Production and Sound Engineering. Lessons are most suitable for beginners up to an intermediate level.
