About Alia

I'm a sound designer, producer, and artist with a First-Class BSc in Music and Sound Design. I’ve spent years studying the science behind sound, and even longer immersed in the art of shaping it. My teaching style is clear, supportive, and tailored to each student. Whether you're completely new or looking to sharpen your skills, I’ll meet you where you are—and push you where you want to go. I specialise in helping students create immersive audio experiences—whether that’s for music, film, games, or installations. I focus on both the why and the how of sound design, combining technical knowledge with creative insight. My lessons are structured, professional, and always built around your goals. You’ll walk away not just with skill necessary to support your craft, but with a deeper understanding of sound as a powerful, expressive medium.

Sound Design Lessons – Immersive Audio from a First-Class Graduate I offer sound design lessons for anyone looking to create immersive audio experiences..whether you're an aspiring producer, game dev, audiovisual artist, or just sound-curious. My sessions blend technical mastery with creative flow, helping you build the sonic world in your vision.

My Approach to Teaching

I teach how to think like a sound designer.

That means:

Learning to hear detail and space in audio Sculpting texture, tone, and movement with intention.

Understanding psychoacoustics and emotion in sound

Blending science with intuition I adapt each lesson to your goals, and I work with what you’ve got, whether it’s Ableton, Logic, or something else.

Expect a hands-on, project-based approach: you learn by doing, experimenting, and refining.

I graduated with First Class Honours in BSc Music and Sound Design. I've worked across music production, immersive audio projects, and performance. This isn’t just academic for me, this is my art, my craft, my life.

Age: 16+ Level: Beginners to intermediate creatives, or even advanced folks looking to deepen their immersive audio game.

I booked lessons with Alia for Ableton Live as a beginner and i really loved the way she approached the lessons. it's hands-on, we got to actually make music from the first lesson. she's encouraging, patient and created a system where we can log the sessions so i can work on it in between the lessons.
