About Eve
Hi there! My name is Eve and I'm a fun and energetic tutor who's passionate about English and language in general. Oftentimes in high school, essay writing, finding sources, and formatting can be explained in a confusing way, and can be even more difficult if English isn't your first language. As someone who's written countless essays for university, I'm here to help clear up the misconceptions you may have about essay writing and help you get the grades you need! I've also tutored many ESL students and this has given me a unique perspective on how I can help with English grammar and formatting. As a teacher, I am super approachable and friendly, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have about English!

My lessons involve helping you reach a mastery of the English language in your essays, which includes help with grammar, formulating a proper thesis, and constructing a cohesive argument. For high school, I can also help with preparation for the AP English exam, as well as more advanced literary texts that may appear in the high school curriculum.
