About Mia
Playing music in Seattle takes up half my life while the other half goes into private instruction. To be fair, I often feel more at home in a practice room than on a stage. My work centers on people like you, whether you are a kid just starting out or a working professional needing a creative outlet.
I earned a Diploma in Music Performance from Musicians Institute Hollywood. Having 13 years of practice under my belt helps me keep things grounded.
My style leans toward the jazz adjacent singer songwriter vibe. I have guided countless students through their musical journey. Music is just a language I am happy to help you speak.

Guitar sessions feel like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a guitar in their hand. Honestly, I find tuning maintenance to be the most underrated part of the craft.
We will spend time on ear training and music theory. Power chords are the foundation.
Fingerpicking adds the texture. Electric technique defines the grit.
Improvisation and soloing provide the freedom. Blues progressions give us the structure. Grade exam prep is always on the table if that is your path. I prefer to keep the process fun and light.
