About Jacqueline
I started playing the violin when I was only four years old. I learned using the so-called Suzuki method, which focuses on learning through hearing and not through notes. Later I also began to play the piano and took part in a number of competitions with both instruments.
A turning point in my musical work was the discovery of synthesizers and, in addition to the enthusiasm for classical music, opened up an even greater passion for the world of electronic sounds and improvisation.
In order to deepen my musical knowledge after graduating from high school (advanced course in music), I decided to study music informatics / musicology at the University of Music in Karlsruhe. Here I studied classical subjects such as harmony, form theory, solfeggio, counterpoint, instrument science and ear training and also took piano lessons from Dr. Anna Zassimova.

I offer music theory courses for all ages in German or English, which are based on the current level of knowledge and the individual wishes of the students.
Complete beginners without knowledge, high school graduates, as well as people with previous knowledge who want to deepen in a special area are welcome.
I would like to give the students a good theoretical foundation, which is also practical
The content of my music theory courses therefore includes classical subjects such as harmony / composition, counterpoint and ear training and can be supplemented by excursions into jazz / rock-pop.
The following literature can be included in the Lessons are used:
- Arnold Schönberg - Preliminary Exercises in Counterpoint
- Thomas Krämer - Harmony in self-study
- Klemens Kühn - Aural training in self-study
I also offer courses in sound design for interested parties and sound synthesis. Here I teach the fundamentals of the various sound synthesis methods in a practice-oriented manner. The program includes Additive Synthesis, Subtractive Synthesis, FM Synthesis - Filters, LFO, Envelope etc ..
The aim is to be able to produce any sound independently if desired, as well as to develop an ear for timbres.
