I have 25 years of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, over a decade of experience as a composer/theorist, and several years of teaching. Before taking on any students, I work with the student (and/or parent) to ensure that we all believe there is a good fit.

I have several years of experience teaching private and small group lessons to students aged 6 to adults, but I specialize more in working with gifted and/or experienced learners than beginners. I have experience in a variety of instruments, genres, and technology, so I am able to tailor lessons to integrate with the existing knowledge the student brings and really help them excel.
