About Charlie
I have been playing the drums for over 20 years and been a professional musician for nearly 10. I have lots of experience in the studio, working with various musicians in a range of styles. I have self-released my own projects, done some mixing and production for clients and have worked as a professional media composer for the last 3 years. I believe there is always more to learn and I look forward to sharing my knowledge to help people get started in the wonderful world of music production!

I believe in a student-led approach when it comes to teaching, which allows the student to shape the flow of our lessons. We can focus on learning a particular software, do some intense listening to your favourite songs and look at the production in detail or we can go over basic mixing techniques! Typically, I will ask what the student knows about mixing and production so far. It's also essential to know what software they have access to. I have self-released various projects, recorded and arranged my own music and worked as a professional composer for the last three years. I believe that Music Production skills are essential to have in the modern day. My lessons in particular would be typically aimed towards teenagers and young adults looking to get started in music production.
