I was born and raised in New York City, where music has been a constant part of my life. With over 20 years of guitar playing experience, I’ve had the pleasure of performing in bands and jazz ensembles, honing my skills across various genres like rock, jazz, blues, and more. I also hold a degree in music composition, which helps me bring a deeper understanding of theory to my lessons. My goal is to share my love for music through personalized, engaging lessons that are tailored to each student's style and goals.

With over 20 years of guitar playing and a degree in music composition, I provide personalized lessons in rock, jazz, blues, classical, folk, and indie styles for ages 6 and up. My calm and approachable teaching style focuses on building a strong foundation while keeping lessons fun and engaging.
Beginner Lesson:
We'll start by learning basic chords and strumming patterns, along with an introduction to proper finger placement and tuning. You'll play a simple song by the end of the first lesson, boosting your confidence.
Intermediate Lesson:
For intermediate students, we'll dive into scales, barre chords, and improvisation. We’ll also begin analyzing song structures and work on soloing techniques, building upon what you already know.
Advanced Lesson:
At this level, I focus on advanced music theory, improvisation, and exploring different genres. We’ll break down complex songs and dive into composing your own pieces, developing your unique style.
