About Kennedy
I am a young professional working in the museum field who is passionate about making education something that is positive and accessible to all. In my current role, I am a Collections Team Lead at a provincial museum. Most recently, I was a Museum Curator.
I am bi-lingual (fluent in French and English) and I love music - I play piano, the ukelele, and some flute! Though, not well enough to teach.
Whoever you are, I hope to help you better understand the subject you are pursuing and make this a successful experience for you.

Learning new information requires an active environment! For example, I utilize storytelling, comparison, and use open-ended questions to invite the student to think critically about the subjects we are learning.
These strategies take the subject from theory to active concepts and allow for a lesson based on conversation and active thinking - rather than a simple lecture.
Because of my experience being based in public education - primarily in museum and gallery settings - I am comfortable and confident in teaching people of all ages and backgrounds.
Besides subjects in the social sciences, I am also able to provide lessons in English (written and oral), French (written and oral), and some lower-level Biology.
