About Michelle
Hello! My name is Michelle, and I hold both an Undergraduate and Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Western University. Alongside nearly 20 years of teaching experience, I am also an RCM examiner and adjudicator for festivals including OMFA and Toronto Kiwanis.
I work with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians and university preparation. My teaching focuses on building healthy technique, musicality, confidence, and a natural relationship with the piano in a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment.
Many of my adult students come to lessons looking to return to piano after many years away, build confidence, or deepen their artistry and understanding of music. Lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, learning style, and pace.

My lessons combine strong technical foundation with musicality, artistry, and all rounded musicianship at the piano. Lessons can include, but are not limited to - theory, technique, repertoire, ear training, musicianship skills, sight reading, practice techniques etc.
I teach students of all ages and levels from beginner to advanced students and also adult beginners and returning pianists.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and learning style, helping them develop confidence, efficient practice habits, expressive playing, and long-term musicianship.”
