About Allison
Hello, I'm Allison I'm 24 and am on the Autism Spectrum. I have had a long line of experience when it comes to job position's careers, and skill sets. In the 4th grade I had a essay I wrote about wild mustangs published. Middle school through high school I gained a deep knowledge of ancient mythology in many cultures and upon graduation was made a spiritual mentor where to this day I teach about different religions and spiritual paths and mentor people to assist them in finding the right path for themselves. My first job was at a local dog rescue where I was the lead trainer, rehabiltator, and assistant manager. There I was an excellent leader amongst my colleagues and had a great sense of organization and filling out paperwork as it should be for a reputable business/ non-profit. My second long standing position was with an employer whom I am unable to disclose the name of but I was able to fully dive into my natural gift for writing as I took part in assisting artist with songwriting, wrote poems that where handed off to book arthur's among other fascinating opportunities I was also able to manage high profile social media pages and compose a large majority of critical business meeting paperwork and financial documents as well. Along with this after I graduated high school to now I had gone into a deep study of mental health issues and diagnoses due to my own mental health diagnosis as a way to be able to better assist the ones I mentor while also being able to help people break the stigma on mental health and more specifically personality disorders. I hope that with my past work experiences and my skills that I will be able to make the most of being a freelance writer once more while also being able to show that just because I am on the spectrum it doesn't mean I am any less capable of succeeding as any neurotypical would in the working world.
