I have been working in education in one capacity or another for the past 10 years, ranging from a clerk, Librarian, classroom aide, behavior aide, tutor, and finally classroom teacher. In the last couple of years was in charge of the performing arts/film club on campus.

My teaching method is based on the needs of those that I am helping. Each student no matter their academic level has a unique "rhythm" in which they thrive. My approach is making sure the students I work with not only feel supported enough to work with me but safe enough to make mistakes. I truly feel that a growth mindset is crucial in learning and life!
