About Jacki
As science center programs director, I developed and delivered science programming for more than 7 years to a varied audience. I had the pleasure of teaching physics to preschoolers and astronomy to seniors. As a university instructor, I taught a variety of humanities courses to college-level students. I am an active lifelong learner, led by my endless curiosity, and motivated by the acquisition of knowledge.

With degrees in animal ecology, women's studies, and religious studies, as well as experience in informal and formal education, I have knowledge of a wide range of topics and experience teaching preschoolers to honors college students.
I believe education is a cooperative experience and students should be active participants in their learning process. I believe we are all teachers and we are all learners. Therefore, my role is to guide and facilitate learning rather than impart facts and figures.
