About Jesse

I am a professional singer-songwriter touring the country and sharing my original music. I have been singing since I was quite young, and have my Bachelor's degree in Theater. I spent two years traveling as a professional musical theater performer and have spent the last ten years as a solo musician and band leader, gracing stages, living rooms, backyards, and churches with jazz, pop, folk, and rock songs. A few neat things: -In 2017 I finished in the top four contestants in the Voice For Columbus singing contest, in partnership with the Harmony Project. -I had the honor of performing with my fellow finalists and the Harmony Project Choir on the Lincoln Theatre Stage. -My recording of my 2020 lockdown anthem “Alpaca Socks” was a finalist in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest for Jazz Vocal Performance. -My debut album “Begin” was released in November 2017 and my second full-length album “To Remember” was released in summer 2021. -You can stream my music on all platforms! -My songwriting chops have also gained recognition from songwriting contests all over the country. My song “The Love Song of Everything” was a finalist in the 2021 Great American Song Contest and was nominated for a Positive Music Award in 2022.

About the lesson

From beginners to school-age to pre-professional singers, I love to help people find their voice through singing and speaking. There is so much power waiting to be uncovered in how we breathe, speak, and sing, and I'm excited to show you all of it!

In the first lesson, we'll get to know each other. I'll get to know you, your goals and expectations for learning with me, and, of course, your voice!

In the lessons following, we'll get to work on what you'd like to accomplish during our time together!
