About Candice
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts Visual Arts and an Honors degree in Illustration. I own a private studio from which I give one on one and group lessons to children and adults.
I have skill set in welding, clay sculpting, botanical and scientific illustration, comic book making, book making (hand bound), found object sculptures, conceptual art, embroidery, oil painting, watercolour painting, acrylic Painting, etching, linocut printmaking, canvas frame making, canvas stretching, homemade paper and can offer tips and advice in preserving and protecting your art materials and tools.

My teaching methodology is to meet you where your skill set is and to help you grow and develop from there. We will take each step one at a time and work in a way that suits your needs and personality. I am extremely interested in art as a form of therapy and self-discovery and bring this into the creative learning process. There is no wrong or right way to produce art, freedom in creativity is always encouraged throughout my lessons.
Open discussion about any and all topics are welcomed throughout the lessons and is not limited to art topics alone. I want to get to know you and help find a form of artistic expression that you can excell in.
