About Aarav
Hi, I’m Aarav! I’m an Honors student at Michigan State University pursuing a double major in Physiology and Human Biology with a minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology, and I maintain a 3.99 GPA. I have experience as a Chemistry I Undergraduate Learning Assistant, where I lead laboratory sessions and help students understand challenging concepts. I also have research and clinical experience, which allows me to connect science coursework to real-world applications. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in science and creating a supportive environment where they can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and build a strong understanding of the material.

My approach is to make challenging science material clear, organized, and approachable. As an MSU Honors student with a 3.99 GPA pursuing a double major in Physiology and Human Biology with a minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology, I understand how overwhelming science courses can be. I focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing information, using diagrams, examples, practice questions, and step-by-step explanations.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the topics the student finds most difficult, reviewing the underlying concepts, and then applying them through practice problems and active recall. I adjust each lesson to the student's learning style, course requirements, and goals. I can tutor students in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Human Biology, Pharmacology, and related pre-health science courses at the high school and college levels.
What sets me apart is my combination of strong academic experience and hands-on teaching experience. As an MSU Undergraduate Learning Assistant, I lead weekly Chemistry I laboratory sessions and help college students understand laboratory techniques, calculations, and difficult course concepts. I also have previous research and clinical experience, allowing me to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but become more confident and independent learners.
