About Victor Hugo
My name is Victor Hugo, and I am a Physics Master’s graduate with over 5 years of tutoring experience. I have worked with students across different levels, helping them build confidence, improve their understanding, and prepare effectively for exams.
I teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students realise that difficult subjects can become manageable when they are explained clearly and patiently. My approach is supportive, structured and tailored to each student’s needs.
Over the years, I have helped students with Maths, Physics and Computer Science, including GCSE and A Level preparation. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations, pace and lesson style to suit the individual.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident, independent and capable in their studies.

My lessons are personalised to each student’s needs, confidence level and exam goals. I focus on building strong understanding first, then applying it to exam-style questions so students know exactly how to approach marks in a real assessment.
I teach by breaking difficult topics into simple steps, checking understanding regularly, and adapting my explanations depending on how the student learns best. I also help students improve their exam technique, problem-solving skills and confidence.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, but I can adapt depending on the student’s needs. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A Level students in Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A Level and younger secondary school students who want support, revision, exam preparation or a deeper understanding of the subject.
