About Noé
I'm Noé, currently pursuing an MSc in Mathematical & Computational Finance at the University of Oxford. I hold a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics with Economics from University College London (UCL), where I ranked among the top of my cohort. My academic interests lie in probability theory, stochastic processes, optimisation, and mathematical finance, and I’ve applied these areas during previous work as a Quantitative Analyst—building valuation models, risk systems, and asset allocation tools. I offer tutoring in pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and introductory financial engineering, with particular attention to conceptual clarity and structured problem-solving. I also support IB students with Mathematics, Economics, Extended Essays, and Internal Assessments.

About My Lessons My tutoring is centred on building deep conceptual understanding and strong problem-solving skills. Whether you're preparing for university exams, navigating coursework, reviewing IB assessments, or simply looking to grasp complex material with greater clarity, I aim to support both confidence and critical thinking. I focus on foundational to intermediate undergraduate-level content—especially in areas where logical structure and conceptual depth matter most. These subjects have formed the foundation of my academic path and continue to shape my current research and interests. Mathematics: - Calculus (single & multivariable) - Algebra and Linear Algebra - Real and Complex Analysis (undergraduate level) - Differential Equations (undergraduate level; excluding variational methods) - Optimisation (convex and nonlinear) Probability & Statistics: - Probability Theory - Statistical Inference - Time Series Analysis - Forecasting Mathematical Finance & Financial Engineering: Introductory undergraduate-level courses, including basic stochastic calculus and risk modelling Exam Preparation: - IB Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches, Applications and Interpretations) - IB Economics - Support for Extended Essays (EE) and Internal Assessments (IA) in Mathematics and Economics If you're studying a topic adjacent to those listed, feel free to reach out. I’m often willing to prepare in advance or adapt sessions to meet specific academic or professional goals.
