About Khaviyaa
I'm an engineer pursuing an MSc in Semiconductor Technology and Operations at NUS, with 3 years of industry experience solving real, technical problems. Physics became my favorite subject because of a teacher who made lessons fun and visual, and that's the same energy I try to bring into my own teaching.
I've informally tutored Grade 10 students before, and what I enjoy most is watching a concept finally "click" for someone who once found it confusing. My approach is patient, structured, and engaging, focused on building real understanding, not just getting through the syllabus.

I believe Physics and Math are best learned by understanding the why behind concepts, not just memorizing formulas. As an engineer, I draw on real-world examples from my industry experience to make abstract ideas concrete, showing students how the equations they're learning actually show up in the world around them.
I start each new topic by assessing what a student already knows and where the gaps are. From there, I build concepts step-by-step, using worked examples before moving to independent practice.
Lessons typically run 1 to 1.5 hours, which gives enough time to review previous concepts, introduce new material, and work through practice problems without rushing.
I have 3 years of industry experience as an engineer. I've also informally tutored Grade 8-10 students in the past, helping them strengthen their grasp of core Physics and Math concepts.
I teach Physics and Math to primary and secondary school students of all levels, from those needing extra support to keep up, to students aiming to excel and pursue STEM further.
