About Triumphant
Hello, I’m Triumphant, although I also go by Otis. I am an anatomy educator, Senior Laboratory Technician and Prosector working within a UK medical school.
I hold a BSc and MSc in Human Anatomy and am an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (AFHEA). I have also undertaken specialist anatomy teaching and prosection training through the Anatomical Society’s Anatomical Training Programme, achieving a Distinction in ATP1 Limbs.
My professional experience has allowed me to support the education of medical, biomedical science, nursing, physiotherapy, physician associate, dentistry and surgical-training students. My particular interests include clinical anatomy, neuroanatomy, prosection and creating visual resources that make difficult three-dimensional relationships easier to understand.
I chose to teach because I understand how overwhelming anatomy and biology can initially feel. I enjoy helping students move from confusion and memorisation to genuine understanding and confidence. I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at a pace that works for them.
For me, successful tutoring is not simply about passing an examination. It is about giving students the knowledge, study techniques and confidence they can continue using throughout their education and future careers.

Anatomy becomes much easier when you can understand how structures relate to one another rather than trying to memorise endless lists. My lessons break complex topics into clear, visual and manageable steps, connecting anatomical knowledge to function, medical imaging and relevant clinical examples.
Before teaching, I identify your course, current understanding, learning goals and areas of difficulty. A typical online lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a short recap, focused teaching, guided practice and retrieval questions to check your understanding. Longer revision or practical-spotter sessions can also be arranged.
I use labelled diagrams, three-dimensional explanations, medical images, clinical scenarios and structured questioning. For anatomy students, I can provide practice with structure identification, anatomical relationships, terminology and practical spotter-style questions. For GCSE and A-level Biology students, lessons can follow your examination-board specification and combine subject knowledge with exam-question practice.
My lessons are suitable for:
