About Ruby
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Physics. I specialise in helping students understand the physics behind everyday objects and phenomena. I use simple demonstrations and relatable examples, like boiling water, bouncing balls, or car braking, to make concepts clear and engaging.
I enjoy presenting conceptual challenges that encourage students to think critically and connect theory to real life. My lessons are interactive, hands-on, and tailored to each student’s pace and curiosity. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations, so students gain confidence in solving problems and understanding the world around them.
I aim to foster a sense of wonder about the physical laws at play in everyday life. From the motion of a swing to the behaviour of light and sound, I show students how physics is relevant to everything they see.
