About Kalina
I am a Physics tutor with over four years of experience and a strong academic foundation through my MPhys. I have spent much of my teaching journey helping students explore biophysics and the physics of living systems. My sessions often dive into fascinating topics such as molecular motors, membrane transport, nerve impulses, and biomechanics. These subjects allow learners to see how physical laws operate inside living organisms. I work closely with biology students who want deeper scientific clarity. I also support pre-med students who need a solid grasp of the physical principles behind human function. Many learners come to me seeking an understanding of life from a physicist’s point of view. I guide them step by step so the ideas feel logical and approachable. Some concepts are detailed, while others can be understood with simple reasoning. I balance both styles to keep learning smooth. Students often find that biophysics becomes far more intuitive than they expected. I enjoy forming connections between theory and real biological processes. Watching learners discover how physics explains life is incredibly rewarding. It is a joy to help students uncover the hidden mechanics behind the living world.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on helping students build strong conceptual understanding through active learning. I teach core areas such as Newtonian mechanics, forces and motion, energy conservation, and practical problem-solving using fundamental laws. I also include related topics like rotational dynamics, fluid mechanics, and basic electromagnetism to give students a wider picture. I keep explanations simple and connect every concept with real-life situations. Students learn how to apply formulas with confidence. I use hands-on examples, visual methods, and structured steps to make learning easier. Some lessons are short and sharp, while others offer deeper exploration. I support learners who enjoy theoretical thinking as well as those looking to redirect or strengthen their career path in science. Everyone receives personal guidance that helps them move forward with clarity. I encourage questions and build discussions into each session. Problem-solving becomes a natural skill over time. You will gain the ability to understand how the world works through the laws of physics. My goal is to help every learner excel and feel confident in their abilities.
