About Chrissy

I am a dedicated educator with a background as an Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP), where I supported students facing emotional and psychological challenges. This experience has deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of learners and reinforced my passion for teaching.

My journey in education has taught me the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally. I am committed to empowering students by equipping them with the skills and confidence to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and experiences while positively impacting the lives of my students, helping them develop a love for learning and the resilience to navigate challenges.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. I believe in fostering a growth mindset, encouraging students to view challenges as opportunities for development. By assessing individual learning styles and preferences, I customise my teaching strategies to ensure concepts are not only understood but also retained.

I prioritise building a strong rapport with my students, which helps create a comfortable space for them to ask questions and express their thoughts. My sessions focus on interactive learning, utilising a variety of resources and techniques to make lessons enjoyable and effective. I also emphasise the importance of setting achievable goals and celebrating progress, empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey.
