About Abha

I hold a Master’s degree in Zoology and bring over 7 years of personal tutoring and mentoring experience to my classes. Over the years, I have had the privilege of personally guiding more than 20 middle school students (Grades 6–8) through critical stages of their academic journeys, helping them unlock their full potential and build a rock-solid foundation for the future.

My teaching methodology focuses on deep conceptual understanding rather than rote learning—an approach that has consistently translated into exceptional long-term results for my students.

A few proud milestones of students I have personally mentored include:

Competitive Excellence: Students have shined in prestigious SOF Olympiads, securing top ranks in the National Science Olympiad (NSO), International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), and International English Olympiad (IEO).

Long-Term Success: A past student secured an exceptional AIR 358 in JEE Mains and is currently pursuing a PhD in Germany. Another student went on to clear CLAT and is currently pursuing an LLB at NLU Guwahati.

My passion for teaching stems from a simple belief: every child is capable of mastering Science and Mathematics if given the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. I combine my deep academic background with a warm, adaptive mentoring style to ensure my students don't just excel in school exams, but develop the critical thinking skills needed for competitive success.

About the lesson

I believe that middle school (Grades 6–8) is the most critical period for students to transition from rote memorization to true conceptual understanding. My classes are designed to ignite curiosity and spark a genuine interest in Science and Mathematics. When students enjoy what they are learning, deep understanding follows naturally—leading to stronger academic confidence and excellent grades.

What a typical 1-hour class looks like:

10-Minute Recap & Doubt Clearing: We begin by reviewing core concepts from the previous lesson to reinforce retention and thoroughly address any homework or school doubts.

Concept Breakdown: I introduce new topics using real-world examples, everyday analogies, and interactive visual aids. This approach is especially powerful for complex Math and Science topics, allowing students to visualize abstract concepts easily.

Active Problem-Solving: For Mathematics and numerical science, we tackle problems step-by-step as a team. I gradually transition the workload to the student, ensuring they gain the independence and confidence to solve problems on their own.
