About Melvin
I am a recent graduate of MSc Biotechnology and Enterprise from the University of Manchester. I have previous 5 years working experience as a stem cell technologist and research assistant. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Philippines with an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. I have experience teaching my peers and mentoring younger students.

I can give lessons up to the university level in life sciences, especially molecular biology, genetics, and biotechnology. Based on experience, I believe that comprehension is more important than rote memorisation in learning. I can give bespoke lessons tailored to the subject matter of the student. My strategy is to explain complex concepts in molecular biology and other subjects in a way that students can more easily understand.
