I want to teach to help students see firstly why mathematics is important and generally, why problem solving is a key skill to master. My future students are in the 11-16 age group and still learning the foundations of mathematics.

I aim to work through problems of increasing difficulty to ensure the student gains a good grasp of the subject. I have a long-time interest in mathematics and love to see when students are able to understand something they previously thought was hard.
