About Naomi
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry. I specialize in making complex quantum chemistry concepts accessible and engaging for university students. My focus areas include atomic and molecular orbitals, bonding theories, and spectroscopic transitions. I use clear illustrative models and detailed theoretical derivations to help students grasp these challenging topics. I have worked extensively with chemistry majors and physical science students. My teaching style combines step-by-step explanations with visual aids, making abstract ideas easier to understand. I believe every student can master quantum chemistry with the right guidance and practice. I am patient and encourage questions to ensure deep learning. My goal is to build a strong foundation in the electronic basis of chemical properties. Whether preparing for exams or gaining a deeper understanding, I tailor lessons to each student’s needs. Join me to unlock the secrets of quantum chemistry and improve your confidence in this fascinating subject.

My teaching approach is relaxed and focused on practical applications. I believe chemistry becomes easier when students see how it relates to real lab work. I use examples from analytical chemistry, including spectroscopy techniques like NMR, IR, and UV-Vis, to help students understand how these tools work. Chromatography and quantitative analysis methods are also important parts of my lessons. These topics are often challenging, but I explain them step-by-step with simple language and clear examples.
Besides core chemistry, I support students interested in genetics and microbiology. I help them grasp laboratory techniques that are essential in their fields. This makes the learning experience relevant and useful for their studies and future careers. I focus on building strong fundamentals and practical skills. The goal is to prepare students for exams and real-world lab situations.
With patience and clear guidance, I encourage students to ask questions and explore ideas. I make sure they feel confident to apply what they learn. Together, we make chemistry interesting and meaningful. My support helps students excel and achieve their academic and career goals.
