About Selloane
I am an MSc candidate in genetics and have extensive experience tutoring and demonstrating at the tertiary level. I love being a demonstrator as it is the perfect opportunity to engage with students and future fellow scientists. I am passionate about education and propagating knowledge to other people, which would make me a great tutor.

Much of life science is visually based, and I prefer to teach in such a manner that encompasses this using PowerPoint and figures that assist in depicting the inner workings of life science. I also believe that education is something that a student partakes in because it is theirs, and I fully believe in engaging with the subject material and encouraging logical thinking. I hope to equip each student with tools on how to self-teach. A student can expect an engaging lesson and, if necessary, assistance with work and I will provide some tools, especially at the tertiary level for research writing.
