About Phoebe
My name is Phoebe, and I am a Year 12 student offering GCSE English tutoring, having achieved a Grade 9 and Grade 8 in English Language and Literature. As someone who has recently completed these exams, I have a clear and up-to-date understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to achieve top grades.
I also have experience mentoring students, which has given me a strong foundation in supporting others, explaining concepts clearly, and adapting to different learning styles.
I am particularly passionate about helping students who may struggle with English or find it difficult to communicate in traditional classroom settings. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence at their own pace.
Being close in age allows me to relate to students and explain concepts in a way that feels more approachable and easy to understand. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students feel more confident and capable in their own abilities.
I approach every lesson with professionalism, patience, and a genuine commitment to each student’s progress.

My name is Phoebe, and I am a Year 12 student offering GCSE English tutoring, having achieved a Grade 9 and Grade 8 in English Language and Literature. My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs.
I focus on improving essay writing, analysis, and exam technique, using model answers, guided practice, and past paper questions to help students understand how to achieve higher marks. I also provide clear, targeted feedback to support steady progress and build confidence.

I tutor GCSE students studying AQA, Edexcel, and IGCSE, supporting a range of abilities—from those building confidence to students aiming for grades 7–9.
